The successor to the Mares Quad: the Mares Quad Ci

Mares has introduced the Quad Ci dive computer. An air-integrated dive computer with many advanced functions. In terms of looks and controls, this dive computer is the same as the Quad, but with a colour display. This makes the Quad Ci a combination of the Mares Quad and the Mares Genius, which we know for its colour display.

New bright colour display

Unlike its Quad predecessor, the Mares Quad Ci features an 8-colour high-resolution MIP display. This display comes into its own when the watch is in good light. The computer works easily via a 4-button control. In the dive window, you have several options with what you want to see. From a classic display to jumbo-sized letters. In addition, the watch is equipped with lighting. The Mares Quad Ci comes in one colour, namely black and silver. This makes the model timeless. Still, you can put your own twist on your watch by switching displays.

Diving with useful features

The Mares Quad Ci features the Bühlmann calculation model. Here, the gradient factors are fully customisable for a personalised diving experience. If you want to adjust the gradient factors, you need to know which factors to set for a safe and unique underwater journey. So do proper research for this, or ask an experienced diving expert. In addition, the Quac Ci can be paired with up to five transmitters and therefore communicates with up to five Led Tank Modules 2.0.

Thanks to the digital compass, you will always see in which direction you are diving. In addition, Mares' dive computer has a stopwatch function. All your dive profiles are stored in the 100-hour capacity logbook. Assuming registration takes place every five seconds. So after the dive, you can analyse it thoroughly.

Ideal for the technical diver

What makes the Mares Quad Ci suitable for technical divers is that you have a bottom timer function. This can be reset the moment your bottom time starts. In addition, the dive computer features different dive modes, from air to nitrox and trimix. This way, the dive computer adapts to different dive profiles and is flexible. In addition, it is possible to change certain settings during the dive.

If you want to use the dive computer with bungees instead of the standard supplied wrist strap, this is possible. Bungees are included as standard.

Connecting with the Mares app

Of course, the Mares Quad Ci can also be paired with the Mares app. Via this app, software updates can be installed. This way, your dive watch is always up-to-date. The dive watch itself cannot be set via the app. This must be done on the dive computer itself. You can set several languages, including Dutch.

Thanks to the bluetooth connection, your made dives can be downloaded wirelessly to your phone via the Maress app. With a full battery, you can dive for 20 hours. Ideally, you just put it on the included charging cord afterwards and after a few hours it is fully charged again for your next adventure.
