Unique drysuit
The Avatar stands out for its unique features, from the material to the sizing. With this drysuit, Santi has chosen a trilaminate that is extremely light and functional. The light weight of less than 3 kilos ensures ultimate wearing comfort. While wearing it, this is an advantage: you need to exert less effort to move, you have more freedom of movement underwater and while carrying the suit around, it is easier. The fabric of the dry suit is not only lightweight, but also innovatively designed. This is because the material is breathable, meaning that moisture can escape from inside without water penetrating from outside. In addition, the fabric features a unique membrane material. The suit is reinforced in key areas, such as at the knees, elbows, crotch and buttocks. These areas therefore have extra protection against abrasion and holes.
You can easily combine the dry suit with a specially designed undersuit: the Avatar 901 Undersuit. This undersuit is specifically designed to fit well with the dry suit. Made of ultra-light material, this undersuit provides extra insulation. This keeps you comfortably warm during colder dives.
A dry suit with all the trimmings
The Avatar and Avatar Airon come with everything you need: a cap, a bag and an inflator hose. Both trouser legs have spacious pockets, where you can easily store all your essentials. Even with dry gloves, you can open the pockets easily, thanks to the special grippers and wide Velcro closure.
When making these dry suits, attention was also paid to the boots. The modern, comfortable and waterproof boots have a reinforced sole on the inside. In addition, a convenient strap around the ankle ensures that the suit barely retains any air. This makes it easier to move around in the water.
At the wrist seals, you will find an interchangeable system that is compatible with Santi's SmartGloves system. A big advantage is the flexibility that allows the diver to effortlessly take the gloves on and off. Due to the flexible fit, they fit almost every diver. Furthermore, the gloves are highly resistant to abrasion, tears, pressure spots and atmospheric conditions.
Many sizes
The dry suits have a unique fit, so there is a size available for everyone. Besides standard sizes like medium, both the Avatar and Avatar Airon also offer options like medium large and medium large tall. The shoes can also be resized; you simply choose a size larger or smaller than the original model. This way, the diving suit always fits your body perfectly.
Avatar Airon
Santi introduced the Avatar Airon as a more robust version of the Avatar. Divers wanted a dry suit better suited for caves, wrecks and colder water. For the Airon, a thicker Cordura Nylon Oxford fabric was used for the upper layer, making the suit more durable and even sturdier. Otherwise, the features and functions are similar to those of the Avatar.
